Here's to you Utah
I have a tendency to get all sappy about goodbyes. So in an attempt to prevent this from getting out of control, I figured I 'd get it all out of my system now while there's still time, and not mention another thing about leaving Provo til I'm actually leaving.
So here it is. A short list of all the things and people that have made my experience in Provo, Utah for the past 5 years absolutely lovely:
Fall in Provo, the Freedom festival, 20 + roommates, Hokulia shaved ice, hot summer days and cool summer nights, Mormons everywhere, Provo hipsters, the mountains, Temple square, BYU, the Multicultural Student Services office, the lack of humidity, attending conference, the creamery, Ancestry, living in a huge singles ward, BYU football games, walking to campus, riding Royal around town, illegal snowball fights, fun times with Bruce, spring in Provo, laying in hammocks, breaking bedroom doors, driving home from Biology with Jane, how deserted Provo is at 3 a.m., the Color festival, "sweeping the sand", pranking the unsuspecting, the SOAR kiddos and the SOAR counselors, Bombay house, Halloween Provo style, BYU Soccer games, parties at the mancave, Sammy's, Provo dance parties, playing "Mary Bongay" with the Albino child, adventures with Damien, temples everywhere, apt. 225, TV marathons with Lace, ethnic corner, playing date the states, constantly going to bridal showers and wedding receptions, the walk of life, Spoon me, how little children always stare at me, impromptu youtube parties, girls nights, watching random movies, International cinema at the Y, the DI, ward prayer, frozen yogurt shops everywhere, the g-team, playing silly games like 'Assassin', stellar home teachers, waffle and ice cream parties, great visiting teachers, brownie notes, the sociology department, the elder's quorum at the Riv, Blue, all of my great Bishops, Susan, talking late with roommates, BYU volleyball games, Cosmo, my soc peeps, working at the Cougareat, Scruples, all of the MSS Staff and counselors, Sunday dinners and potlucks, a never ending supply of kool-aid, blasting "Hey boy" with the roomies, and many, many great friends.
